A Kelowna Xcentric Rock Ripper Service That You Can Rely On
When you have a rock on your property or need to remove rock for a new foundation, you have a number of options to get rid of it. The best option that we recommend is hiring Doug Bateman – we are trained to use the heavy equipment called the Xcentric Rock Ripper, which will rip rock into small and disposable pieces of rock in just a matter of minutes. The Rock Ripper is based on a patented, impact vibration accumulation technology that enables breaking rock in less time, but also at a lower cost and with minimal noise.
Don’t try blasting as this can be dangerous for your land and everything on it. The Xcentric Rock Ripper is your best alternative.

How Does the Xcentric Ripper Work?
The Xcentric Ripper is a hydraulic attachment for excavators, developed with a patented system of “Impact Technology by accumulation of energy”, which makes it more productive than any hydraulic hammer available in the market. It is also more productive than other hydraulic rippers on the market, known as “vibro rippers” that work with vibration (instead of the percussion (impact) system used by the Xcentric Ripper). Made entirely of anti-wear steel, it is virtually maintenance free and less noisy than any other digging tool. The Ripper can even be used underwater without any risk of being damaged. Ask Doug Bateman about this amazing tool if you need ditches, excavation in permafrost, tunnelling, or demolition.
The Best Kelowna Alternative to Blasting Methods
Blasting rock in your property can add additional risk to your project. It will require a permit and be very loud. Blasting is heavily restricted in many municipalities as it causes vibrations which then may lead to cracking of structures in close proximity. Doug Bateman has many years of expertise operating the XCentric Ripper. Give us a call and let’s know what you need, then leave the rest to us.
